Arknights: Endfield is free to play on PC. It needs about 60 GB of space, 16 GB of RAM and a GTX 1060 or better. This guide covers the official specs, the install steps in order and what to check if the game won’t launch on day one.
What is Arknights: Endfield?
Arknights: Endfield is a 3D real-time strategy RPG developed by Hypergryph and published by Gryphline. It’s set on the planet Talos-II. Over 150 years, settlers there have built a strip of civilization called the Civilization Band, and most of the planet is still untamed.
You play the Endministrator of Endfield Industries. Your job is to explore, fight with a team of Operators and use AIC Factory technology to build production lines that expand humanity’s foothold. The Steam release is dated October 14, 2026.

Arknights: Endfield PC system requirements
These are the official specs from the game’s Steam listing.
| Minimum | Recommended | |

| OS | Windows 10 64-bit | Windows 10 64-bit |
| CPU | Intel Core i5-9400F | Intel Core i7-10700K |
| RAM | 16 GB | 16 GB |
| GPU | GeForce GTX 1060 | GeForce RTX 2060 |
| DirectX | 11 | 11 |
| Storage | 60 GB | 60 GB |
RAM is the line to check. Both specs list 16 GB, so an 8 GB machine is below the minimum, whatever its GPU. Our guide to checking a game’s system requirements shows where to find your RAM and GPU in Windows.
How to download Arknights: Endfield on PC
- Free up 60 GB. An SSD keeps load times short when you travel between regions.
- Open the official download. Use the button below. It goes through our affiliate partner to the game’s official PC download page.
- Install the game. Run the official installer, or click Play Game if you land on Steam. Choose your SSD as the install location.
- Sign in. Create an account or log in when the game asks. Keep the email address safe, because it’s how you recover the account.
- Let resources finish downloading. Launch-day servers are busy. If a download pauses, let it retry rather than closing the game.
What to expect in your first hours
The opening introduces Talos-II, your first Operators and the factory system that sets Endfield apart. A few things are worth knowing before you start:
- Factories matter early. Production lines feed your upgrades, so set them up as soon as the game unlocks them.
- Combat is real-time. You control your squad directly. Positioning and skill timing matter more than in the original’s tower defense.
- Settings are worth a pass. Lower shadows and effects first if your frame rate dips in busy factory areas.

How long does the Arknights: Endfield download take?
Download time depends on your connection and the install size. The table below assumes about 60 GB, and launch-week server load can slow things further. Times are for the download itself, at the full speed of each connection.
| Connection | Approximate download time |
|---|---|
| 50 Mbps | about 2.7 hours |
| 100 Mbps | about 1.3 hours |
| 300 Mbps | about 27 min |
| 1 Gbps | about 8 min |
Real-world speeds usually land below a plan’s advertised figure, so treat these as best-case numbers. If the download runs far slower than your connection allows, check whether another device or app on your network is downloading at the same time, then pause and resume the download.
If Arknights: Endfield won’t install or launch
On launch week, a failure is more often server-side than on your PC. Check the official channels for maintenance notices first, then work through these in order.
- Verify the game files. Use the launcher’s repair option, or Properties → Installed Files → Verify integrity of game files on Steam.
- Update the GPU driver. New releases often need a recent driver.
- Check free space. A patch that runs out of room partway through leaves the install broken. Free space, then repair again.
- Turn off overlays. Turn them off one at a time, then relaunch.
